INNOVATION AND DESIGN on February 2nd, 2024!

One of the things improvisation is best known for is how it fosters innovation. Need something new created and explored, yes you’re knocking at the right door! Come to this session to develop your capacity to serve your clients in their innovation and design needs. How have your methods improved and changed over time? What favorite activities are you using? What are you stuck on? You will have a hivemind of smart supportive peers to innovate with. How can you resist?

For context, in 2024, all our First Friday Themes will be areas of work improvisation is being applied. This is being done to highlight how much applied improvisation is, and should legitimately be, part of the training and approach to those areas of work. The world needs this, all these disciplines need this, and we’re stressing that fact. This is also a signal to ALL people specializing in these application areas to come and make use of this remarkable Open Space resource. 

These special themed sessions are designed to foster sessions on the themes but sessions on any topic are definitely welcome. Yes, and.

AIN Open Space sessions are community-created, volunteer-run events where you can experiment with new ideas, play games, initiate discussions, ask questions, share things that are working well (or not so well!), collaborate with others, and receive and give support with others in the AIN community.

Anyone can propose a topic! Some of the best sessions are initiated by people who want to learn more about a topic. We use the principles and skills of improv theater to listen and support each other, co-create, take risks, and most importantly, make our partners look brilliant.
